Deadly Dengue on rise

As you can see there is no stop to unseasonal rain and the threat of dengue is at its peak. But what can be done if this continues to happen.
The government is trying its best and clearing the water by putting water pumps to drain out water from the pools and realizing it into the river. The flow of river water has also been diverted and the gates were being closed so that the city doesn’t get flooded. The people living there were also provided shelters to the safer areas.
Due to CWG the garbage was cleaned up and trying to make city clean and safe.
This is not only the governments duty but olso the duty of the citizens to keep our city clean and healthy.

CWG bridge is falling down!!!

With just one week left for the Commomwealth games and the foot bridge to the main stadium collapsed.
So what, this is India where people do their work in last minutes andit turns out to be the best. I hope , the preparation for CWG will also end-up to be the best. The government is trying to make alternative arrangements for the entry.
I think that we will do good and complete all the left out preparation before 3rd October .
But the bad part is, many labourers  were injured. They were admitted in hospitals and are under treatment. The government is taking care of them and C.M Sheila Dikshit  announced Rs one lakhs compensation for  the critically injured and Rs 50,000 for those injured.
Don’t worry the lady will take care of everything , she is with us.

Is Delhi ready for CWG?

Recently Delhi C.M Sheila Dikshit said that Delhi is absolutely ready for Commonwealth Games. But if you look at the condition going on, don't you think that we ar not ready for CWG.
Due to unseasonal rain Delhi is sitll facing waterlogging problem. As you can see big snarls on roads. Even due to this city is also suffering from Dengue. Dengue cases are still rising and the hospitals don't have enough beds. Apart from this the recent one is the attack on Jama Masjid, Delhi is facing a threat.
Yes the preparations for CWG and all the construction are almost done in the city but how will the government be able to solve all the above problems. It is not only Delhites is facing such problems but what about the people who will visit the city in next few days. According to me they are just planning to attract tourists and encourage tourism in the country.  But how the government will able to provide security to them. but it is not only foreigners but also the lives of our country will be facing, how the government be able to provide security for our people.
What seems is that India might be attacked or might face communal riots in the city and other parts of the country. CWG is a big event which will going to take place within next few days so ther is a threat for India either internal or external but I think India is in danger.

Govinda's daughter now ready to make her debut in Bollywood

Bollywood actor Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa Ahuja wanted to be perfect in every way before making her debut film in bollywood.
Her father is a good actor then why she is worried? I think, like her father, she can also make good movies. When she was 18 years old she was pursuing an acting course and after that she went to London Film Institute for further training.
I think she would have taken training from her father as he was also a big star in acting and most of her movies were hit.
Well, lets see how she will going to do. Lets wait and watch what she'll going to come up with and will she be able to replace our big actresses like Deepika Padukone, Kareena, Bipasha and others.

DelhI's Beggars

To keep beggars and destitute away from the public eye especially during the Commonwealth Games the Delhi government is planning to hide them in parks, which will be covered with tents and Games banners. They have identified several locations where the beggars would be relocated till the Games are over.
This is what real India is. There are beggars because the government is not doing anything for their upliftment. All goverment officials are corrupt , if they really want to get rid of beggars then they would have done somethingfor them. Now they are providing them facilities such as place to live in parks, food and other necessities. They could have provided them earlier also.  What the government is doing? Are they playing 'hide and seek' game with these beggars.
They are hiding the beggars in the parks because they wanted to show 'rich India' to the foriegners but this is not true. Real India is this which we have now. And after the Games they will again come up on the roads and streets.
Their condition will remain same. Nothing will going to change.

Delhi on flood, but no danger to CWG

There is no danger to the Commonwealth Games Village from the rising waters of the Yamuna, says the Delhi government.
Now do not panic, as government is providing boats and pumps have been put into action, and all low lying areas facing the danger of flooding has been evacuated. About 99 percent of citizens living in low-lying areas have been shifted to safer locations and there is no need to worry, the situation is under control.
The alert has been issued as the Yamuna river continues to flow above the danger mark. The excess water has been released from Hatnikund which has already caused a breach in the Markanda river, and damaged a portion of the Ambala-Saharanpur national highway, and inundating 20 villages in the Yamunanagar area of Haryana.
But their is no threat to the people living near the river bank. Enjoy this unseasonal rain and get ready for the CWG which are going to take place next month.

MERC TO DIMPY

Dimpy Mahajan who was in news for wife-beating scandal from hubby Rahul , got Mercedes CLK500 as a semi anniversary gift from her hubby.
I think they are doing so to be famous and get publicity. Their relation was in danger and she even wanted divorce from him. Now she is back to her hubby. She even said Rahul was "guilty" about the beating episode.
Her husband has gifted her Mercedes so she is happy and also giving her lots of gifts these days. This is what she wanted from her husband.
Did she married him to get publicity and money?
What do you think she want and what she is trying to tell us?

IIT is facing faculty crunch

Facing a massive shortage of well-qualified teachers, the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT) have mooted a proposal for hiring foreign nationals as permanent faculty members.
India have good number of doctors , engineer and scientists is facing a shortage of teachers in IIT. We have large number of doctors, scientists and engineers serving in foreign countries. They study here and go to abroad  in search of job. So naturally India will face shortage of good faculty and had to appoint foreign teachers on permanent positions, up to 10 per cent of the faculty strength.
IITs have contended that the presence of foreign faculty on their campuses would expose graduating students to globally distinguished professors besides lending a true international flavour in the campuses and reducing brain drain. Though we will have international flavour but in India student will not be able to understand their international teaching because it will take time for us to adjust with that teaching. It is good to have foreign faculty but why India is short of faculty in IIT.

Salman Khan's controversies

There are many controversies regarding the actor Salman Khan.

Salman Khan has been plagued by questions about the status of his relationship with actress Katrina Kaif recently. The controversy was triggered after Katrina, who is in a relationship with the actor for quite sometime, she said she is 'single'.

There are other controversies in his life, including his brush with the law twice and his relationship with Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwariya Rai.

The 45-year-old actor, who is facing trial for killing black bucks in Rajasthan over a decade ago, said that the case does not stand against him. He had another brush with the law in a hit and run case in 2002, when his car crashed near American Express bakery in Bandra, killing one man and injuring others.

He is again and again in controversy because he is an actor or a muslim or people don't like him?
Why not other actors are in controversy ,why him?

There are so many other problems affecting people in the country, why is Salman-Katrina relationship national news?
There is no case against him. The first post-mortem report of the animals did not show that they were killed by bullets. It is only said in the second report. He was fighting the case for 11 years and till date had to take Jodhpur Court's permission before travelling anywhere.
He has lot of respect for Shah Rukh as an actor. He said that they shared some good times playing brothers in 'Karan Arjun'. There is no clash between them, but some misunderstandings crop up time and again.

There are problem in everyone's life ,but why media make such a big issue of such small things.

Maoists have international connections

The CPI (Maoist) maintains dialogue with the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) who control most of Nepal in the Coordination Committee of Maoist Parties and Organizations of South Asia (CCOMPOSA) according to several intelligence sources and think tanks. These links are however denied by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)

Latest reports indicates that the Maoist Communist Party of the Philippines Southeast Asia’s longest-lived communist insurgent group—has been reported to have engaged in conducting training activities for guerrilla warfare for Indian Maoists.

The Indian Maoists deny operational links with foreign groups, such as Nepalese Maoists, but do claim comradeship. Some members of the Indian government accept this, others argue that operational links do exist, with training coming from Sri-Lankan Maoists and small-arms from China. China denies and is embarrassed by any suggestion that it supports foreign Maoist rebels, citing improvements in relations between India and China, including movement towards resolving their border disputes. Maoists in Nepal, India and the Phillipines are less reticent about their shared goals.

I think maoists are getting foreign help because they don't have money and countries such as China, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other are planning something behind our back. So, they are aiding maoists against our government. China and Pakistan had already invaded India from northern frontier and as Pakistan was in a plan to take away Kashmir so, they are in a way diverting government's attention towards maoists so that they can invade further.

I would like to share this with you and want to hear what are your views regarding this?

PRICE RISE IN DELHI

In an attempt to curb the rise in prices of food andessential commodities and put an end to malpractices in trade and supply, the Delhi government is looking at bringing in an Act.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at a public meeting in Trinagar on Sunday held to felicitate Parliamentary Secretary Anil Bhardwaj.

Dikshit said the government is looking at strengthening the Essential Commodities Act, which will control hoarders and marketeers. The present Act will have to be replaced, for which the Delhi government will take an approval from the Centre, she said.

“Price rise is a major problem for both the state and the Centre but there are reasons behind this,” she said.

“There has been a rise in people’s income all across India. When such a thing happens, the manufacturers and businessmen are naturally encouraged to hike prices of goods and commodities,” Dikshit said. “Also, when there is progress and development along with rise in income, then the problem of a little rise in prices will have to be borne.”

She was right in her statement that when there is a progress and development people have to accept this price rise. If a person can buy three cars then why can't he buy things with little rise in price. If people can not buy those commodities then the price will naturally go down. Like what Gandhi ji did when India under Britishers, we were forced to buy British manufactured goods. Gandhi ji asked to boycott and then he staeted with the KHADI cloths. So if the government is doing nothing to reduce the price on commodities then don't buy them it will naturally will reduced.

WE ARE FAMILY

When it comes to a family film, one is always doubtful about its treatment. There are questions around whether it would end up taking the much visited route, whether it would have characters that have been seen in million films before or whether it would end up being regressive just in order to be socially and politically correct. However, when it comes to his latest production WE ARE FAMILY, Karan Johar is quick to dispel any such speculations and confirms that his Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal starrer is as progressive as it gets.

"There is not a single regressive tone in WE ARE FAMILY", Karan makes a strong declaration for the film which marks the debut outing for director Siddharth Malhotra, "It pretty much provides insight into the situations of today. The film is very progressive and has a modern outlook to it. Nobody, whether it is Arjun, his ex-wife Kajol or the new woman in his life, Kareena, behaves or says something which is remotely regressive. Also, while doing that, we have not crossed any limits either. There isn't anything which would conflict the traditions of our country."

This is the reason why he was extra conscious when it came to finalizing the title of the film. While using STEPMOM as the title was a definite no-no, he didn't even want it's verbatim Hindi translation.

"That would have sounded pretty negative", reasons Karan, "Ours is a heart warming film rather than the kind that results in any negative energy surrounding the characters. Also, we haven't made a scene-to-scene remake of STEPMOM. It is an adaptation. We wanted a sense of positive energy in our film and hence the title WE ARE FAMILY."

I think there is nothing negative about the title STEPMOM it is just the way you think. I.f you think it in a negative terms you will have a negative view when you will watch it but if you think it in a positive way you will have a positive view. We Are Family, this title can also make someone think negatively, when you will watch it you will come to know about it, you might take it in a negative terms. I don't think stepmom is a negative title it is the way you think the things are.

Delhi's traffic

Heavy rains lashed the national capital since last night, leading to water logging in many areas and huge traffic snarls.
The city received 93.2 mm of rains since 8:30 pm last night.
The rains led to a dip in temperature with the minimum being recorded at 23.3 degree Celsius.
Traffic has been badly affected due to waterlogging in major traffic crossings. Badarpur, Ashram, Moolchand, Jungpura, Sarita Vihar, Mandir Marg, ITO, Bhagwan Das Road are some of the roads which have reported waterlogging.
According to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi there is waterlogging in atleast 19 areas.
The movement of vehicles is disturbed at Moolchand Underpass, Ring Road, Ashram, Savitri Flyover, Dhaula Kuan, Lajpat Nagar, Mayapuri crossing and many other areas.

Though it is not a monsoon season but still  delhi is getting drenched and waterlogged. The government is doing its job but casually. They are more focussed on commonwealth games. If they do not do away with this problem then how can we think they will be able to complete the commonwealth game's target which is already due. Delhi is under tough  situation. Lets see what the government will do to solve this problem.

Commonwealth Games

In September 2009, Commonwealth Games federation chief Mike Fennell reported that the games were at risk of falling behind schedule and that it was "reasonable to conclude that the current situation poses a serious risk to the Commonwealth Games in 2010". A report by the Indian Government released several months prior found that construction work on 13 out of the 19 sports venues was behind schedule. Other Indian officials have expressed dismay at the ongoing delays but they have stated that they are confident that India will successfully host the games and do so on time. All CWG projects were to be completed by May 2009 and the last year should have been kept for trial runs. The first stadium was handed over for trial runs in July 2010 only.To put the delays in perspective, Beijing National Stadium was completed much ahead of schedule for the 2008 Summer Olympics, while the venues for 2012 Summer Olympics in London are scheduled to be delivered one year before the games and the construction of the venues is on track.

In August 2010, the Cabinet Secretariat took a decision to appoint 10 officers of the rank of Joint and Additional Secretaries to oversee the progress of the construction of stadiums. Each officer is allocated a stadium and given the responsibility to ensure that the work completes in time for the games.

There are also allegations of wide spread corruption in various aspects of organising the games including procurement and awarding contracts for constructing the game venues. The Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee on 5th Aug 2010 suspended T S Darbari (joint director in the organising committee) and Sanjay Mahendroo (deputy director general in the organising committee) following the report of the three-member panel which was probing the financial irregularities related to the Queen's Baton Relay. Also Organizing Committee treasurer Anil Khanna resigned from the post in the wake of allegations that his son's firm had secured a contract for laying synthetic courts at a tennis stadium.

The way CWG work is going on, India will surely sucessfully pose the games, but how we don't know. The government should have planned it much earlier. But if they do everything in a hurry they will end up doing a mess.
